Challenge 3- Which One Doesn't Belong? and Fill in the Blanks

Which One Doesn't Belong?

One of the challenges when you first begin to study a region is that it isn't easy to distinguish one country from another.  This challenge will ask you to think about different groups of countries in different ways.  There isn't just one right answer to each question, so keep thinking until you come up with what makes one of the countries on the list different from the others.

The Americas
Southwest and South Asia
Southeast and East Asia, Australia, and Oceania
North Asia

Fill in the Blanks

By now you should have a solid grasp of the countries and their capitals.  See how well you can fill in these blanks- if you can do it quickly, great.  If you can't, you may want to outline the region again, play mapping games or draw a map of the region to help you become more familiar with this part of the world.
